Abi’s role is relationship-focused, ensuring that BTR’s global partners offer efficient and client-focused services. This impacts on all aspects of global workforce mobility. Her relationship management and quality control role ensures that BTR’s services are professional, proactive and personable. Abi is also involved with VIP move management and contract tender submissions. This huge variety is part of the appeal to Abi who says: “Every day is different. Each day can bring a new request, potentially a new issue requiring a solution.
“I’ve worked within household goods and international relocations for almost thirty years. At BTR I enjoy the freedom to think outside the box and make immediate decisions that are to the benefit of all parties. This involves prompt action and resolution of an issue, or simply an improvement to a process already in place.”
Alongside her BTR role, Abi is a proactive supporter of cancer support charity, Macmillan. She undertakes fundraising challenges (her latest is a 100km walk) and is actively involved as a patient representative. She speaks on behalf of the charity at various venues, including the Houses of Parliament.
Lee Brewin, BTR’s CEO says: “Abi has had a big impact on the workforce mobility services we offer. Her industry experience means that she offers a great insight to our processes and relationships, giving us an efficient edge whilst retaining that all-important client focus.”
