The new season brings with it a fresh look for the team. The girls will be donning vibrant new kits that symbolize their unity and spirit. These new strips are more than just uniforms; they represent the team’s identity and the community’s unwavering support.
The new kit comes on the back of the 50th anniversary celebrations last season and a move to a new kit manufacturer. The club has worked with our new local supplier to design this bespoke kit, which encompasses both the old purple and blue kits from the last few seasons.
There is also a new club badge, designed by one of the U10 team members after a competition last summer. The badge brings together aspects of grassroots football and inclusivity, reflecting the ethos of giving everyone a chance to play, have fun, and socialize within our community club.
Optimism for the season ahead
After a challenging previous season marked by unpredictable weather and disruptions, the team is looking forward to better conditions and more consistent play. The girls have shown incredible resilience and determination, and this season promises to be one of growth and success – we hope!
‘We’re proud to sponsor Shinfield Ranges as they pursue their passion. We share their enthusiasm and commitment to excellence, and we wish them a successful and enjoyable season.’
Lee Brewin, BTR Managing Director
Tom Fenwicke-Clennell, the team’s manager, also shared his thoughts: “We are incredibly proud of our girls. Their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship have been exemplary. With the new season and new strips, we are ready to take on new challenges and aim for even greater heights. Thank you to BTR for your continued support.”
As the team continues its journey in 11-a-side football, they are prepared to tackle the challenges ahead with enthusiasm and determination. The bonds they have formed and the skills they have developed will be crucial as they navigate this new phase.
Here’s to a season filled with success, camaraderie, and, hopefully, better weather!
